Wes Giles, coming off a spectacular season in which he topped the quarter horse trainer standings at Albuquerque Downs, will send out seven starters including Chicka Boom Babe, a three-time winner from six starts who will go as one of several contenders in the third race on the card, the second trial heat of the day. HOBBS – Fifty-five horses will take part in six trial races Saturday for the New Mexico Classic Futurity, part of the opening weekend of action at Zia Park Racetrack and Casino in Hobbs.
